Order Entry Administrator - Manufacturing

El Dorado, KS

Syndeo Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for an Order Entry Administrator to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company. The Order Entry Administrator reports to the Vice President and is responsible for maintaining excellent customer relationships and responding to customer inquiries, order entry, documenting actions, and coordination of production schedule with order entry.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $18 - $20 DOE

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take customer orders via phone and email.
  • Establish lead time on regular orders to meet delivery dates for new orders.
  • Accurately enter their orders into the computer in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and distribute production reports and product labels for the packaging facility.
  • Track and communicate order status of customer orders. Keep customers informed.
  • Prepares for customer inquiries by studying products, services, and customer service processes
  • Responds to customer inquiries by understanding inquiry; reviewing previous inquiries and responses; gathering and researching information; assembling and forwarding information; verifying customer's understanding of information and answer. 
  • Records customer inquiries by documenting inquiry and response in customers' accounts.
  • Improves quality service by recommending improved processes; identifying new product and service applications.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Plan, schedule and prepare production order details.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Knowledge: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Agronomy and formulation is preferred.

Skills/Abilities: Excellent customer service skills are a must.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

  • Understanding of the various processes in plant operations from the time an order is received until the finished product is shipped.
  • Good knowledge of Agronomy and formulation.
  • Excellent organization.
  • Ability to make quick, accurate decisions.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize own work.
  • Ability to effectively set goals and execute.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
